Roselle Kinesiotaping

Elastic tape is applied on the body to reduce pain and inflammation for various medical conditions. It is a elastic therapeutic tape made specifically to microscopically lift the skin and motivate the body to start healing naturally. It is non- restrictive and allows for full range of motion.  Used extensively for all levels of athletes to reduce pain and improve performance.

Roselle Cupping (Myofascial Decompression)

Myofascial decompression or cupping is a therapy that helps treat musculoskeletal disorders by using suction to create negative pressure underneath the cup. Originally fire was used to create the suction, but more recently a simple pump is used. The negative pressure helps to decompress the area by lifting the skin and the layer of tissue underneath the skin, the fascia, up into the cup. This creates space for the underlying tight muscle to lay down and relax. Cupping also helps bring blood flow to the area in need. Blood carries important nutrients which help with tissue healing. Dynamic cupping is the addition of movement to the therapy.  Movement can be in the form of sliding the cups over the necessary tissue or leaving the cups static while moving body parts.

Roselle Dry Needling

Neurologic Dry Needling (NDN) is the evolution from needling points (myofascial trigger points) to needling the system. NDN is utilized to treat all types of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.  These conditions are not limited to orthopedics but are applicable to any condition where inflammation (neurogenic), reduced blood flow and muscle guarding is present.  The NDN treatment system is based on peripheral and central neurologic principles, which is not limited by the traditional trigger point paradigm.  Using the peripheral nerve mapping model allows a broader opportunity to deliver treatment locally, segmentally, and most importantly systemically.

Roselle Vertigo Care

Vertigo can be a very disabling condition, but did you know that vertigo isn’t a disease itself. Vertigo is a symptom of other conditions. The first step is finding out what’s causing your symptoms.   An array of issues can cause the symptom of  vertigo. Some of the most common are conditions known as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), Ménière’s disease, and labyrinthitis. Less common causes include migraines, medication, head injuries, and stroke.

Roselle vertigo care specialist and chiropractor Dr. Jon Polcyn has helped hundreds of patients alleviate their vertigo.  Dr. Polcyn emphasizes that proper diagnosis of the root cause of the vertigo is imperative to proper management.  If the diagnosis is determined to be BPPV, he boasts a success rate of approximately 95% over his career.   If the vertigo is determined to be non-BPPV related he will often co-manage a patient with a medical provider.

If you are in search of a high quality clinician that provides effective vertigo care in Roselle, IPM Roselle is your number one option!

FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO NARROW DOWN YOUR ROSELLE CHIRO SEARCH

STEP 1: BEGIN A GOOGLE SEARCH

Search for one of these phrases:

  • Chiropractor Roselle
  • Chiropractor 60172
  • Roselle Physical Therapy and Chiropractic
  • Best chiropractor in Roselle
STEP 2: CHECK OVER THEIR WEBSITE

Great chiropractors in Roselle should care about how their website is presented.  If the website is dated, disorganized or neglected that is bad sign.   Also, take a look at what services they offer.  A Roselle chiropractic office that only offers one or two services may not have the tools to adequatly address more complicated injuries.

STEP 3: CHECK THEIR REVIEWS

Read the Google reviews.  (Yelp is not a bad spot to check too!)  Look for patient reviews that describe injuries similar to your own.   Look for comments that talk about the various techniques that were used to address the person’s injury.   Most importantly look at the bad reviews and see if you can find a pattern in what people are complaining about.   In our opinion, anything less than 4.9 stars should be approached with caution!

STEP 4: GIVE THE OFFICE A RING

Now that you have done your homework, call the one that stands out as the clear number one.  Do not hesitate to call the office and ask for an opportunity to talk to the doctor on the phone.  It is a really good sign if the physician is willing to take the time to talk or call you back to address you questions!
