Safe & Effective Treatment
Chiropractic is a safe, drug-free, and non-invasive therapy for back pain, neck pain, joint pain, headaches, and other neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Its safety record is excellent, and the associated risks are minimal. You don’t require a doctor’s referral to consult a chiropractor.
Moreover, spinal manipulation is remarkably effective and helps patients recover faster than traditional medical care. According to a March 2004 study in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, chiropractic care is more effective than medical care in treating chronic low-back pain, particularly in patients with symptoms lasting a year or less. Additionally, a study in the July 15, 2003, edition of the journal Spine found that manual manipulation provides better short-term relief of chronic spinal pain than various medications.

Traditional Manual Adjusting
Many people have grown up receiving traditional manual adjustments from their chiropractor. Our physicians are highly skilled in manual chiropractic adjusting techniques. Our chiropractors are able to treat veteran patients as well as rookies due to the multiple techniques we incorporate into our services at IPM. Having used computerized and manual techniques, we have found them both to be highly effective at improving joint motion, reducing pain, and improving motion.

Computerized Adjusting
Chiropractic adjustments can cause nervousness due to the high-velocity thrusting and popping sounds. However, to address this concern, we have implemented modern computerized adjustments that are comfortable yet effective. It’s similar to the advancements in other fields, like painless dentistry, laser brain surgery, or knife-less procedures. In the same vein, chiropractic treatments can now be done comfortably in an upright position without sudden movements. Regardless of age, everyone can be treated safely and gently, even newborns and the elderly with osteoporosis.

Computers and engineering technologies have revolutionized chiropractic, enabling us to analyze and treat the body in ways previously unimaginable. As a result, we can now unlock our full potential, banishing pain and maximizing spinal function like never before. With demands for peak performance increasing, our techniques and technology have risen to the challenge, allowing us to fine tune our energy and elevate all aspects of our lives.

What To Expect With Chiropractic Care
Laying the foundation for total health
In some ways, one could say that becoming physically well is a bit like building a house – certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work together correctly.
Physical medicine (chiropractic, physical therapy and massage) addresses many common reasons why people experience pain and other health issues. If something is not right with your body’s foundation, then that needs to be addressed before true health can be achieved. With chiropractic care, your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully.
