
Michael Montes, a licensed athletic trainer, ATC, brings a wealth of experience to Integrated Physical Medicine’s New Lenox office. A native of Chicago, IL, Michael graduated from St. Laurence High School in 2010. He then earned an Associate’s of Science from Moraine Valley Community College in 2013 before completing his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Northern Illinois University in 2016.
Michael is Board of Certification (BOC) certified as an athletic trainer and holds certifications in first aid and CPR, making him a key asset in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and athletic performance enhancement. Prior to joining Integrated Physical Medicine, he gained extensive experience working as the head athletic trainer for Triton College and served as a certified athletic trainer at Olympia Chiropractic and Physical Therapy, Knox College, the Windy City Thunderbolts professional baseball team, and the University of Arizona.
When he is not helping athletes and patients recover and excel physically, Michael enjoys weight training, attending sporting events, spending time with his significant other, and staying active with walks and outings to the movies with family and friends.
