What Makes Our Approach So Unique and Effective?
Many people have needed the services of one or more physical doctors over the course of their lives.
What is a physical doctor? A physical doctor is any physician that treats a patient's ailments of the nervous and musculoskeletal system. What does that mean? In a nutshell, joint manipulation, stretching, strengthening, exercise, posture repair, gait analysis, muscle relaxation, ergonomics training, and diet modification. Normalizing a patient’s body structure has profound effects on pain-reduction and slowing or halting the development of spine and joint degeneration.
The two most widely utilized physical doctors are physical therapists and chiropractors. Physical therapists specialize in stretching or strengthening muscle in order to balance and normalize injured joints and body regions. Chiropractors specialize in joint manipulation to improve joint motion and reduce nervous system interference especially in relation to the spine. Chiropractic and physical therapy used in combination is extremely useful to achieve full rehabilitative repair of an injury. Massage therapists also play a very large role in muscle loosening and relaxation.
360 Degree Approach - With a combination of the strengths of physical therapy, chiropractic, and therapeutic massage we are able to identify all aspects of a patient's injury. By identifying all aspects of an injury we are able to cater a customized rehabilitation program that not only repairs the injured area, but makes the area stronger and more stable to be able to withstand future injuries. This is the definition of true preventative care!
